These tights are funny because first of all, I bought them at Wal-Mart almost a month ago spontaneously and second of all because I had no intention of wearing them on Halloween day. This morning I thought I might as well because if I wear them anytime soon after today then I feel like people are going to think I'm just a weirdo who has her dates confused. This morning my neighbor saw me walking to my car and asked me if I was "going to a party at school." Which was sweet, but, I think that she thinks I'm about 16 years old. Also, one of my professors took a picture of me and told the class that I was in a "costume" and that I wouldn't normally "dress like this," to which I responded that "actually I do. everyday." I mean I am going to wear these again probably not for about a month though. Anyway, here's my Halloween post. I'm going to go find out how I can watch Hocus Pocus before today is over. i'm adding leopard prints to the long list of things that i don't know why i was never obsessed with before. leopard prints and dresses. both of which you'll be seeing more of from me. i'm extremely happy right now (even though i have a cold AGAIN which is CRAZY) because things are seemingly falling into place. all my hard work is really paying off.

i've had a great weekend. i wish it could go on forever. weekends are never long enough. i'll just enjoy my final day of not stressing until tomorrow. i wore my cosmic lita's for the first time yesterday. i'm in love with them. honestly, i know how lita's are everywhere on the internet and practically every blogger has a pair but i really can't help but want more and more. i think its the fact that they look beyond amazing and they're comfortable. enjoy your sunday everyone!

i've been craving to wear fall attire, but, with florida's bipolar weather it'll be a little longer before i really can. until then i'll just wear dark lipstick every day and pretend like i'm being "fall-y." i have 25 new items that are waiting to be photographed and listed for my store. i found some amazing sweaters and dresses. i really can't wait to list them. it's another crazy busy week, so, i'm going to have to cut this post short and go be studious. xo!

I'm very picky when it comes to floral prints. I'm not sure exactly what it is that makes me distinguish between the ones I like and the ones I don't. I love the floral print on this blazer though. I think its the slightly faded pale pastel colors that drew me to it. I'm not sure why I haven't worn it more often, actually. I haven't been able to get much finished today. I planned on shooting the new vintage I've found recently and listing it on my shop, but, apparently there is a tropical storm hitting central Florida right now. Go figure. Stay tuned though because I have some wonderful pieces for you guys. I hope you're all having a grrrrreat weekend.

Here are a few quick shots of my outfit today. Though its still hot, I'm glad I'm able to at least start "layering" a little and not sweat so much. I've been wanting to wear knee highs and thigh highs pretty much everyday. I also can't wait to start wearing my huge chunky sweaters that I've admittedly began hoarding recently. I'm so happy that in the midst of studying for my three upper level art history courses, my crazy drawing class, getting my art portfolio ready, working two jobs, and managing my vintage shop, I've miraculously been able to find time to take photos of my outfits and keep up with my blog somewhat. My mind is constantly wandering and coming up with ideas for art pieces, outfits, shop ideas, et cetera. I'm trying (and sort of failing) to keep my brain organized. I wish I could just devote all my time to blogging, drawing, and my vintage shop...but thats not the way the cookie crumbles? Haha, anyway, I'm in the middle of changing the aesthetic of my blog a little. I want to make the layout look a little cleaner. AND this very second I'm waiting for my cosmic Lita's and some leopard Sole Boutique wedges to arrive in the mail anxiously. Wish me luck on my portfolio review in the next couple of weeks, guys!
